Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Compu-Med Vocational Careers, Corp. (“CMVC,” “we,” “our”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities, including students, prospective students, families, and visitors with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to achieve these goals.
Our Commitment
We aim for this website, www.compumed.edu, to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Current Status
At this time, CMVC has not yet completed a formal, independent accessibility audit of this website. This statement reflects our ongoing commitment to accessibility rather than a certification of full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to:
- Review our website’s content, design, and functionality against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
- Identify and prioritize the correction of any accessibility barriers we find.
- Train our content and web team on accessibility best practices.
- Incorporate accessibility checks into future website updates and new content.
Measures We Are Taking
As part of our ongoing efforts, we are working toward the following:
- Providing text alternatives for non-text content (such as images).
- Ensuring sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Making sure the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone.
- Using clear headings, labels, and consistent navigation.
- Ensuring forms include clear instructions and error identification.
- Reviewing compatibility with common screen readers and assistive technologies.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of this website may not yet be fully accessible. Known or possible limitations may include third-party content, embedded tools (such as forms, maps, or payment portals), or older PDF documents that have not yet been remediated. If you encounter any of these issues, we ask that you let us know using the contact information below so we can address them.

Ongoing Monitoring
To maintain and improve accessibility over time, CMVC follows this ongoing process:
– We run an automated accessibility scan (using tools such as axe DevTools or WAVE) on our main website pages on a quarterly basis.
– New pages, images, and content are reviewed for basic accessibility (alt text, headings, color contrast) before publishing.
– Accessibility issues identified through scans or user feedback are logged and prioritized for correction.
– This Accessibility Statement is reviewed and updated at least once a year, or whenever significant changes are made to the website.
